The Savage Arms A22 FSS pairs a straight-blowback Semi-Auto action with the wildly popular .22 LR rimfire cartridge, delivering a modern, ergonomic rifle ready for plinking, small-game hunting, and varmint work. This Full Size model is built around a 22″ matte stainless steel sporter barrel matched to a matte stainless steel receiver that is drilled and tapped for optic mounting, giving you a corrosion-resistant package ready to head to the range or the field.

At the heart of the A22 is Savage’s adjustable AccuTrigger, which lets the shooter dial in a crisp, personalized release without compromising the proven lock-up. The action uses the same thread-in headspace system found on Savage’s centerfire rifles, ensuring consistent case fit and accuracy across rimfire ammunition. A simple thumb safety keeps the controls intuitive for fast follow-up shots.

A 10-round rotary magazine feeds the action for a 10+1 capacity, and the matte black synthetic stock keeps total weight at just 5.60 lbs. The barrel is cut with a 1:16″ twist, overall length measures 41″, and the rifle is configured for right-hand shooters. Built by Savage Arms.
