CO2 pressure fluctuates dramatically with temperature. If a tank is overfilled or left out in the hot summer sun, the internal pressure can spike to dangerous levels. Before the structural integrity of the aluminium or steel cylinder is compromised, this precision-engineered 3000 PSI copper disk will deliberately rupture, safely venting the gas out through the side ports of the fitting.

Machined from high-quality brass, this assembly includes the threaded plug and the integrated rupture disk. It is a direct drop-in replacement that easily threads into the side of the main valve body.
