Standard Carbine Buffer for Sliding Stock Colt models.

We offer two Categories of Buffers: “Common/Mil spec” and “Custom” weights.

Common/Mil Spec Buffers:

  • “Standard” – 3 oz (2.9oz) – Standard Mil Spec weight for most carbine models (3x Steel or 1x solid Steel Rod)
  • “H”   – 3.6 / 3.8 oz – Popular upgrade if you feel your gun may be a bit over-gassed (most guns)(2x Steel, 1x Tungsten)
  • “H2” – 4.6 oz – Popular upgrade if you only shoot 5.56 NATO & Max pressure loads (2x Tungsten, 1x Steel)
  • “H3” – 5.5 oz -Heaviest (Aluminum bodied) Buffer (3x Tungsten)

 

Custom Buffer Weights:

 

  • 1 oz   – Lightest standard carbine size Buffer (no internal weights)
  • 1.6 oz – Lightest reciprocating Buffer (3x Aluminum)
  • 2.0 oz – 2x Aluminum, 1x Steel
  • 2.5 oz – 2x Steel, 1x Aluminum
  • 3.3 oz – 1x each: Steel, Aluminum, Tungsten
  • 4.2 oz – 2x Tungsten, 1x Aluminum
