The GSG-16 from German Sports Guns is a tactical .22 LR semi-automatic carbine designed for plinking, training, and varmint control. Built around a lightweight tan and black polymer receiver, the GSG-16 feeds from a 22-round detachable magazine for an overall 22+1 capacity.

This full-size rifle carries a 16.25″ barrel tipped with an integrated faux suppressor shroud at the muzzle. Both the front and rear sights are adjustable for dialing in at the range. The right-handed rifle is configured for shooters of any size, with an overall length that adjusts from 28.50″ to 34.25″ via the collapsible buttstock.

One of the GSG-16’s signature features is its collapsible buttstock, which doubles as a hidden storage compartment capable of holding an extra 22-round magazine for quick reloads on the line. The rifle weighs just 5.84 lbs unloaded and runs a clean 5.5 lb trigger pull. Polymer construction, faux-suppressor muzzle device, and adjustable iron sights make this one of the most feature-rich .22 LR carbines in the GSG lineup.
