The Hornady XTP (eXtreme Terminal Performance) is one of the most respected names in handgun projectile design. This 38 Caliber / .357 diameter bullet is a 158 grain jacketed Hollow Point reloading component intended for handgun applications. Each box contains 100 bullets, with 25 boxes per master case.

The XTP features a precision copper jacket over a lead core, with a hollow point cavity engineered to deliver controlled expansion to roughly 1.5x the bullet’s original diameter across a wide velocity range. A heavier jacket stands up to the high pressures and velocities of the most powerful handgun loads, while tight concentricity and consistent core/jacket seating produce the kind of accuracy competitive shooters rely on. A cannelure provides a positive crimp reference and helps keep the core and jacket locked together at impact.
