The Savage Mark II F in 17 HM2 is a full-size bolt-action rimfire rifle built around a 21-inch button-rifled carbon steel barrel and a tough fixed synthetic stock. The full-length barrel and 39.50-inch overall length pair with a 5.50 lb carry weight to give the rifle a steady, balanced feel off a rest or in the hands.

At the heart of the action is Savage’s user-adjustable AccuTrigger, which lets the shooter dial in a clean, light pull. The matte blued carbon steel receiver is drilled and tapped for scope bases, paired with a target crown muzzle and iron sights, so the Mark II F is ready for either optics or open sights right out of the box. A thumb safety provides quick, intuitive engagement.

Feeding comes from a detachable 10-round magazine, giving the Mark II F a 10+1 capacity that makes range sessions efficient without giving up the simplicity of a bolt action. The matte black fixed synthetic stock is weather-resistant and dimensionally stable, suiting the rifle for hunting and target use in the field. The barrel is button rifled with a 1:9-inch twist.
