Description
The Wheeler AR Armorer’s Bench Block (model 156945) is a purpose-built gunsmithing tool molded from durable, non-marring urethane in a neutral gray finish. Designed specifically for the AR-15 platform, this bench block supports routine field-stripping, assembly, and disassembly work without scratching the finish on bolts, buffers, and other parts that contact the block during service.
The block is shaped to cradle and stabilize common AR-pattern components, including upper and lower receivers, front sight blocks, and charging handles. It also doubles as a stable work surface for pressing gas blocks, driving roll pins, and supporting the lower receiver during trigger and safety selector installation, making it a practical addition to any armorer or home gunsmith bench.
