The Winchester Model 70 Featherweight Compact carries forward the legendary “Rifleman’s Rifle” heritage in a lighter, scaled-down package chambered for the modern 6.5 PRC cartridge. Built around the classic Model 70 bolt action, this Featherweight pairs a proven three-position safety with the crisp, user-adjustable M.O.A. Trigger System for a predictable, clean pull on every shot.

The 20″ free-floating barrel carries a traditional brushed polish blued finish and a 1:8″ twist chosen to stabilize the full spread of 6.5 PRC bullet weights. An overall length of 39.5″ and a weight of 6.80 lbs keep this Featherweight Compact easy to carry in the field, sized for smaller-statured hunters or anyone who puts in long miles on foot. The right-hand satin walnut stock features the iconic Featherweight cut checkering pattern and Schnabel fore-end, finished in a warm brown that pairs naturally with the blued metal.
