The Modify M170 Spring is an irregular pitch spring. The non-linear pitch of the spring makes it easier to compress the spring for installation and reduces stress on the piston during pick up by the sector gear.

Note: The “M” rating of a spring is often related to a general velocity rating imparted by the spring, in this case, “170” notes 170 meters per second, which converts to 550+ FPS, depending on gearbox factors, such as gear stroking and compression efficiency.
